At this week’s Game Developers Conference, Intel will feature an array of software tools, contests, developer resources and enhanced games, designed to help spur innovation in the gaming developer community. Attendees can check out a preview of the new Intel® Core™ i7 processor (codenamed “Gulftown”), Intel’s first 32nm, six-core processor with 12 computing threads, as well as the new Intel® Graphics Performance Analyzers suite of software tools. Market research firm Techaisle just completed a study of 1000 small businesses to determine the financial, security and productivity implications of replacing old PCs. Techaisle concludes that small businesses that try to eke out more use from aging PCs will take it on the chin in all three categories.
